E-asttle Reading

I think I have improved from the previous time I did this test. To be beyond the national standard, I should read more or do more homework. For my goal, I should understand what the story is about. To be honest, reading is hard for me. I need to work on finding and understanding the main ideas in the text.

The author is trying to say there’s many places to go and have fun with your friends.	The author is trying to say that there’s always things to do in the holidays..	The author is trying to say there's always something to do, if you don’t think something reminds you of a movie or game.
I know because Paulie is trying to convince Jase to go places but Jase denied his ideas.	I know because Paulie is always coming up with ideas of having fun.	I know because Jase and Paulie only kicked the can because it reminds of them a movie.
Examples: There’s many ways to have fun with your friends on holidays.	Examples: There’s many things to do in the holidays.	Examples: Playing kick box chopper reminds them of a movie.

Apostrophe

I'm learning about Apostrophe.  You only used Apostrophe when you make two words into smaller a smaller word.  As you know, 1 wrong out of 7.  I will to learn more activity like this.

This is about the 2 main character in the story personality.

Spell: The Skin

Spell and listening to word was hard for me because I had no ear and it disturb the class.  So I try it, until I get all right and I did.  The words we had to spell was all about skins.

Book Choices for Juniors

This book is a really good story for the junior kids because this story is all about Eva trying to look old because she was the shortest and the youngest in the family. If I was the youngest in the family, I will feel unhappy because I will have to stay home and do nothing.  

Sumdog - Jet

This game is about finding the correct words to fill the gaps to make sense. It was easy but the person who I was playing against was too good and fast.   Next time I’ll have a chance to beat him.  I lost by 4 points. I will like to do more activity's like this.

Sumdog - Reading

Today I was playing a game called Dress Down on sumdog.  My enemy was hard to play agents because I’ve chosen challenger.  Maybe if I was good at reading then maybe one day I’ll have a chance to bit my enemy.  Next I’ll like to learn more other activity.

Comprehension

For Independent Reading, I was learning comprehension. I think I did really well on the question because I got 8 out of 10. So that means that I got 8 right and 2 wrong. I think I didn't read the story many times but if I did I will probably got all my questions right. 

Creative

This program is about Noun, verbs and adjectives.  This program wasn’t that bad but I learn some facts.  Like Noun means who is going to be your character, verbs means what action is the character doing and adjective means describe your character. Next I will like learn more new activity .

Follow Direction

This game is about following direction. This game was easy for me because I know the direction to get to the right place but before I go to the right place I have to read carefully before I follow my direction. Next I will like to learn more other activity.

Adverbs

Grammar I am learning adverbs. I got 91.67% for this test.  To get 100%, I need to read carefully before I choose the correct answer. I think this was easy because I only got one wrong.  Maybe next time I’ll get 100%.  Next I still will like to learn more about verbs and adverbs.

Comprehension Test

This image shows my result for the comprehension test.  I have to say, this was a little bit easy because all you have to do is read the story a couple of times before you answer the questions.  As you can see I got 40 out of 50 so basically I got most of the questions right but one wrong. To get 50 out of 50, I should read the story again before I click the right answer.  I will like to do more activity like this.

Punctuation Game

Walt: place the correct punctuation into the gaps in the sentence.

For reading, I'm learning where to put punctuation marks.  To play this game, I had to choose the correct punctuation mark and hen click splat so that it will go onto the sentence given. Before I chose my punctuation mark, I had to read the sentence to understand it, then I’ll know which one to select. This was a little bit hard for me because really I didn't know which punctuation mark would go into the correct place. I should learn punctuation marks by placing them into the sentences correctly because honestly, I need more practise.

Cause and Effects

Verbs

This is a screenshot of a game I’m learning.  This game is all about finding the correct verb.  If I keep on learning about verbs, I’ll be able to get my answers all right. Basically I guessed all my questions.  As you can see, my score was 35.  This was difficult for me because to be honest I don’t really know my verbs really well. To get to the next level I should able to practise and practise until I know my verbs.  So likely, I should learn more about this activity.  

Cause and Effects.

In this game I am matching the cause of the correct effect. This game was a little bit easy because I had to match the pieces and I got 24 correct and none wrong. I learn about what is cause and effects. I would want to learn more about this activity.  

Drawing Conclusion

For independent reading, I am learning about drawing conclusions. Drawing conclusions means that you have to to use the clue to find the hidden meaning in the story. This story was about Mary starting a new job and dan gave Mary a congratulation card. I had to answer 9 different question that is based on the story. Before I had to answer the questions, I read the story over and over. I was trying to find what was the clue in the story was about. I think this was easy because you have to find clues. If you don’t understand the story read it over and over again to get it in your mind. I would like to continue with this activity. For my result 7 out of 9.

Reading my e-book to Cashis

I read my e-book about basketball to Cashis from room 8.  Cashis was too shy so I decided to read it to him.  While I was reading to him he was listening. When I finished reading to him I had the next child from room 8 and I also read to her.
