Transformation,rotation,reflection

For my extension, I'm learning my transformation, rotation and reflection.  Its really hard to me because I don’t quite understand the language of maths, so I tried my best but got them wrong.  So Alisi helped me to understand because I understand her language but not Mrs Ramkolowan because she’s angry every time I do something wrong.  

So the reflection, then rotation because it looks the same but different way.  To get your maths right you have to make sure you understand the language of maths.

Perimeter and area

Today, I'm learning to work out the perimeter and area in my basic facts.  The perimeter is the distances around the rectangle.  I calculated the area of the rectangle, so 5 x 8 = 40 and that was my answer.  Every answer you get right gets a point and can find out the puzzle.  It seems like I'm right all the time. The more I get right the more I'm getting good at it.

Adding Decimals

For this game, I am learning to add decimals.

It wasn't that easy adding in decimals it really needs more learning. Some decimals was challenging. So I took out my maths book and tried to get the answer. I got the answer, it was 13.3. It’s really hard to remember the numbers to move to add to the next number and start adding it, it’s all mixed up but without a blank page I can start remembering and learning it fast. I enjoyed learning my decimals, I think that I'm ready for next level. Seeing how well I done, makes me feel surprise.

Balloon Pop

This game is called Balloon Pop.  I have to pop the balloon that is smallest to biggest.  

It wasn't that easy because here comes the decimals.  It was really challenges because the mice was tricky.  I couldn't handle it, it was too hard and too confusing.  It was easy for me to found out the smallest to biggest decimals.  0.86 is smallest than 1.07.  So I was right and that made me feel good.  Making thing go in the right place isn't that easy.

I know I've done well, maybe Mrs Ramkalawan can move to the next level.  

Mum stepped...

Walt: to use better words.

Mum stepped on a red carpet that made her famous in Glen Innes Centre.  Mum was fervently happy. She couldn't believe that it’s her on the red carpet.  Mum meet Chris Brown, Richy Marcell, Rihanna, Ruby Frost, Stan Walker and more interesting famous people.  Mum was beautiful in her lovely new dress, that her sister gave her.  She couldn't believe that it’s happening, she started walking and walking but something had happened for the past few weeks.

Ruby was flying like a bird to Stan Walker's face. Ruby was running in her high heels and going too fast like Usain Bolt. She started flying and flying because of a rock, that made her tripped.  It was so embarrassing. Everyone that was taking photos couldn't stop. There was a problem, on the news it had shown Mum that was flying to Stan Walker's face. Everyone couldn't stop testing Mum and that made Mum upset.  Mum was crying hard for in 2 days. She couldn't go to sleep.  So Mum’s friends tried their best to make her be happy.

One day, Ruby was so sad and unhappy because it’s a good thing to tell the truth. So Ruby went to the newspaper government and she said "sorry but to be honest, it was me that tripped on Stan Walker's face. So it was my fault”.  So Mum sang a song and everyone was into it and they tried to sing but, they were flat.

Mum was so impressed that she’s back.  Ruby was so embarrassed that everyone were saying that she was a liar and a pants on fire.  Ruby was not happy but she also said a speech to Mum. Mum forgive Ruby but there was something that she really helped Mum. Ruby needed to sing a song to Mum because Mum was a biggest fan of Ruby.  

Next Day, Ruby was so happy that it was all over.  Ruby, found out that the vital thing is to be honest.

Mummification

Walt: write an information report.

The Egyptians Mummies was placed in a box after when they have being dried but some mummies was placed in a fancy, beautiful case.  The Egyptians removed the brain except the heart.  Inside the mummies body the Egyptians put cloth so the body can stop from getting rotten and to keep its shape.  The Egyptians believed that the spirits will go to the next world.

I am a Builder

Walt: write in paragraphs.

I am a builder and I build pyramids in Ancient Egypt.

Working as a builder is hard.  Carrying stones is hard work and painful too . I am poor, I have no shoes, so we work barefoot. My job is to build pyramids for Egypt. I do art as well. The main tools that I use are chisel, saw and much more.

For my lunch I have bread, onions and cucumber to keep my energy up. It was really challenging  for me to work as a builder in Egypt.

Angles

Today, I've been learning my angles. Angles are about two lines meeting to create an angle.  It’s fun to play a game like angles because it’s awesome to learn.  The main thing in this game is the angles.  You have to get there in the direction.  I really enjoyed playing this game.

Walt: write a report

The 7th of June was the day for skipping for Glen Innes School.  Every  class in Glen Innes School participated in skipping.  Skipping strengthens the Heart.  

Most of the skills shown was double under and other fast and furious skills.  Each class showed a lovely routine the parents were feeling the enthusiasm and energy. Time lasted for about 3-4 minutes. That's how fit they are.

The classes music went really awesome and the parents were really into it.  Room 12 was the best routine because it have shown nice style and moves.  Room 12 was funny, because of the music.

The Egyptians Fruit.

The photo below shows fruit.  These are fruit that they have.  Dates, figs, melons, cucumbers, onions, leeks and lettuces.  The Egyptians farmers grew these fruit.

Model Maths

I am learning my 12’s multiplication.

Every time you get the right answer, the model person gets new things to wear and that's a score.

This is so easy for me that I know them really well.  Time tables is not so difficult to me because I understand really well.  

Multiplication Maths Game

For this week, I was learning to solve problems in multiplication.  3 x 4 was equal to 12 and that was easy.  7 x 9 means 7 fish in 9 groups and altogether adds up to 63 fish.  So the answer was 63 and I was right.  I know I was good because I'm professional.  I see that I know my multiplication really well, maybe Mrs Ramkalawan should move me to the next level.
