Jingles

For our group we are working out how our music will be.  We've chosen Bunnings as out topic and we have to found out what could be our jingles?.  As you can see, at this time we only came up with only 2 idea's.

But it was out of time so we never get to finish this.

What do you need to play softball

Walt: write an explanation.

Explain: what you need to play softball.

The most important thing about softball is two teams because  how are you going to play when there's no teams to verse each other and how are you going to play without a softball equipment and where are you going to field.

First, both team need safety gears to protect their skin.  Next, both team are on the field where they are set. 1 team is bat and the other is fielding.  But before the game starts, the team that's are fielding, need to sort out the diamond, so there’s 4 bases.  So there’s a base 1, a base 2 and a base 3.  The base 4 is a home.

Next, there should be a referee so it can control the game and there will be no cheating.

Then, the first team to bat is to not throw the bat because it might hit the backstop. So you need to hold the bat tight and strong so when the ball is coming to the person that is batting, the person need to hit the ball with bat that’s why bat are part of softball.

The team on field need to catch the ball so the person is out. The, pitcher needs to have a ball so the team is batting can hit the ball.  

Softball is a fun sport and you need to have the equipment to play softball and how are you going to play if you don’t have a field.

Basic facts

I am learning my doubles. I’m using my place value.  As you can see this is how I work when I try to find out the answer. So I took away the 73 from 973 and the theirs 900 left. Then I took away 3 from 73 and that will leave you 70.  So 900 x 2 equal to 1800. I used the 70 to times 2 and that will equal to 140. 3 x 2 will equal to 6. After that, you all them altogether, so 1800 + 140 + 6 = 1946.  Then you will end up with the answer and my answer is 1946. I find this easy because I know my time table well.

Explanation: Swimming

Walt: explain what is done before swimming.

In Glen Innes School, children bring their togs and towels everyday for their swimming lessons because they have a swimming pool.

First, the children get their togs and goggles to swim in, because wearing togs instead of clothes is really easy to swim in and clothes are really hard for children to swim. It will be too heavy.

Next, the children go into the changing room, so they can change into their togs because you need to have the right gear on to swim.

After that, the children head to the swimming pool but before they get into the pool they need to have a shower so the chlorine won’t burn their skin.

Then, the children can hop into the pool but they have to enter the pool by the ladder. Only so they will know if it is deep or not.

Finally, they get to swim in the pool because swimming is one of the best sport or because they want to swim when its a hot day.

Sumdog

I am using my skip counting to get my answer.   The answer is 88.  It was really simple for me because all I did was to add 3 into 85 so that will add up to 88. I would really like to be in a higher rank the next time I play on Sumdog.
